Large water supply project to the port of Maqam and its desalination plant on December 29, 2009 in the presence of Mr. Chitchian, Minister of Energy, Mr. Ghaneh, Deputy Minister of Design and Development of National Water and Wastewater Engineering Company, Mr. Hamzehpour CEO of Hormozgan Rural Water and Wastewater Company and Mr. Naghsh, CEO of Tarhafra consulting engineers, was inaugurated and put into operation.
This project, which is located in an area of 80 square kilometers, has been studied by the Tarhafra consulting engineers and includes a desalination unit, two units of water pumping station, 13 units of ground reservoir, and 60 kilometers of transmission line.
