Inauguration of the Persian Gulf Water Desalination Project

This desalination plant, located in Hormozgan province, uses the RO process for desalination and is currently one of the largest desalination facilities in Iran.

The main units of this desalination plant include coagulation and flocculation unit, dissolving air flotation, chemical preparation and injection units, sand filtration, reverse osmosis, brine storage tank, calcite bed, material unit, sludge processing, reservoirs and pumping stations and collection of office and laboratory buildings.

In this project, the ،Tarhafra consulting engineers is the consultant of the second phase studies and SazehSazan Company is the employer and investor of the project.

Studies of this super project have been done during 2018 and 2019.
